Ralph Toft Dish
A slipware marriage dish.
Acquired by the museum in 1865 through Alderman Langworthy. ER Langworthy was a local business man and politician who was an important benefactor to the museum in its early days. The dish is thought to have come from Dunham Hall.
A fine example of a Ralph Toft dish, an important name in seventeenth century Staffordshire slipware.
