Here you can browse objects from Tameside Museum’s collections. You will find an insightful range of regimental objects from their impressive collection, stunning artworks and a range of interesting social history objects from quilts, cotton queen dress to sewing machines.
Look out for videos of curators Rachel Cornes and Marie Holland talking about and giving behind the scenes access to the donkey stone collection and artists Harry Rutherford’s painting of Mill Girls .
Some of the objects may not be on display in the galleries. Please check with the museum before you visit.
